Cedar Mill gets chance to talk
parks
Cedar Mill- The Tualatin Hills
Park & Recreation District is seeking public suggestions on
park and recreational opportunities in the Cedar Mill area.
The district will host five
open houses between August and October to gather information. The
first meeting will be held from 7 to 9 tonight at the Cedar Hills
Recreation Center, 11640 SW Parkway.
Two meetings are scheduled on
Aug. 24 and Sept. 14 in Christ Methodist Church at 12755 NW Dogwood
Ct. The last meetings will be held Sept. 28 and Oct. 5 in St. Pius
Church at 1280 NW Saltzman Rd. All meetings will be held from 7
to 9pm.
Along with the public meetings,
the park district will mail random surveys to residents living in
the Cedar Mill area.
The district is trying to gather
information from Cedar Mill residents to see what types of services
they want in their neighborhood, said Steve Bosak, superintendent
if planning, development and natural resources.
